Irving's Confirmation 1961
 

In line with Danish tradition, young people at the age of 13-14 are expected to confirm their religious belief given on their behalf at baptism by their godparents.

My time was up on 1st April 1962. And also in line with tradition, my parents arranged a grand party for the newly confirmed person with participation by the wider family.

The party was in restaurant "Tre Hjørner" (Three Corners), located in Sølvgade in Copenhagen.

On this page are the rare pictures of the family members who showed up to welcome the youngster into the ranks of the grown ups.
