Ghost town
Hazy Saturday afternoon - it is 2 pm in Beijing - the tourist season is at its peak
Tian'anmen Square is normally crowded with tourists -domestic and foreign - and Beijingers
Taking a "clean" picture of Tian'anmen Gate (the one with Mao's portrait on it) is
pretty tough !
Your photograph will invariably include innumerous cars, buses and people that
you didn't intend
And The Forbidden City of the Ming and the Qing is normally so crowded that you
have to wait in line to see anything
Forget taking pictures of anything remotely famous without a bunch of people
blocking your lens.
